PERSONAL MINISTRIES OPPORTUNITIES

The following is a list of organizations that need YOUR help. They are opportunities for us to serve our community and carry out a commission given to us by God, His Word, and our Pastors.

-International Children’s Care- (800)422-7729- www.forhiskids.org - Adventist Church para-church ministry to orphaned children world wide.

-Good News Mission-New Life Recovery Program- 241-5754- www.gnrm.org - Men’s recovery program from addictions of all forms. Mentors needed.

-Mercy Medical Center-Mercy Hospice- 245-4073(Marilyn Traugot) Volunteer to help out and mentor hospice families with emotional and spiritual support.

-American Cancer Society-Discovery Shop-244-3032- Volunteer to man the shop to benefit our local cancer society.

-Mothers Against Drunk Drivers(MADD)-347-1365 (Evie VanVeen)- maddshastacounty.org – MADD’s mission is to stop drunk driving and support victims.

-Shasta Family YMCA-Childwatch Volunteer-246-9622 (Patrice Hanson) www.scfymca.org -Volunteer child care provider while parents are involved at the Y.

-American Red Cross-244-8000- www.shastaredcross.org - Many and varied volunteer positions from CPR instructor to disaster relief.
